We were delighted that grandparents Sheila and Jeremy Dare were able to lead our Christmas assembly. The pupils did some thoughtful reflection on being kind to others at Christmas and the origin of Christmas. We sang some carols and were entertained by the puppets!
We were delighted to hold our concert on Thursday night after having to cancel the night before due to the power cuts and atrocious weather. Everybody agreed that all the pupils did a fabulous job!
Parents and friends were treated to some super singing from the nursery children. They all did very well and there are many budding stars of the future!
Our art teacher has uploaded pictures by the primary children onto the website mychildsart. You can log in using the link and choose products to be decorated with their artwork.
P1 – 7 had a great day out in Lerwick. Everybody enjoyed the film ‘The Grinch’ – even the adults thought it was good! A packed lunch followed at the museum and then everyone enjoyed a scavenger hunt around the museum. We will put donations received towards another trip in the new year.
