Scottish Myths and Legends
We have been sharing stories about Scottish mythical creatures. Kelpies were water horses that could change their shape. We drew them and wrote descriptions to match our drawings. We used our ideas to write two part stories about a Kelpie Adventure.
First Moon Landing
Last block Primary 2 enjoyed finding out about the Moon and the first Moon Landing. Here is a sample of some of their learning activities.
Charles Rennie Mackintosh chair
We have been studying Charles Rennie Mackintosh high backed chair designs. You can still sit on his chairs in the Willow Tea Rooms in Glasgow. We learned about perspective when we made our chairs look 3D.
