Autumn walks 🍂

Primary 3 got the chance to go on a lovely autumn walk. We were searching for resources we could use at our art zone. We were also looking for signs of autumn and if we could spot any every green trees.

We had great fun being creative with the nature resources we had found.

King and Queen 👑

This week we had our first virtual assembly and the children got to find out the kings and queens from each of the classes.

This week our king of the castle was Brayden for trying really hard in all our learning zones and challenging himself (achieving).

Our queen of the castle was Layla M for being a super helper and always cleaning the classroom (safe).

Our Winners 🏆

I would like to say a huge thank you to  everyone who took part in our pyramid challenge. It was really tricky for the judges to choose!

On Friday we had lots more entries and they were all fantastic⭐️

The judges were blown away by your creativity and really struggled to choose, so much so, they asked our sport coaches to help them!

In third place we had Erin, they really liked her simple design. 🏆

In second place we had Lowri, they really liked how she had thought of the 3D shape. 🏆 🏆

In first place we had Mirrin, again they really liked the shape but they were blown away with her creativity! 🏆🏆🏆

Well done everyone – you are all winners to me 🏆🦄💖

Pyramid challenge 🇪🇬

I would like to say a huge thank you for all the fabulous pyramids that have been brought in so far. The children have enjoyed chatting about how they made them and they have all had so much fun! 😊 Our pyramids will be judged by Mr Mothersole and Mrs McCleod tomorrow. If you would like to take part remember to bring in your pyramids! 💗⭐️💗

It is going to be so hard for our judges, they are just fabulous! 🦄💗

Thanks For the Memories!

Hi everyone,

As you are all aware, I am retiring today.

I have taught at C.C.P.S  for 25 years and enjoyed every moment.  As well as teaching your children, I have taught many of you and have lots of great memories.

I just want to say a big thank you to each and every one of you for your unwavering support throughout my years at the school. Your children are a credit to you and I am going to miss them all so much.

It gives me enormous comfort to know that Mr Mothersole and his fantastic teaching and non-teaching staff will continue to encourage your children to “be the best they can be”.

Hopefully, I’ll bump into some of you when I am out and about in Johnstone.

Until then…
