Busy bees 🐝

Primary 3 have been using the maths zone to reinforce their addidition and subtraction skills. We have enjoyed setting ourselves challenges.

We have been exploring 2D and 3D shapes.

We enjoyed making posters to display Β what we have learned.

At the language zone we have been developing our co-operative learning skills. We are learning to work well as part of a group.

At the art zone we have been using a variety of media to create beautiful artwork.

We enjoyed making cards for a random person in our class. We left them a kind message.

We checked our wishes from term one and shared if our wish had came true and we made new wishes for the new term.

We have also been working on describing our emotions and sharing the triggers for our emotions. We are learning how to regulate our emotions independently.

Keep up the good work Primary 3 you are super stars βœ¨Β πŸ¦„Β πŸ’–

Autumn walks πŸ‚

Primary 3 got the chance to go on a lovely autumn walk. We were searching for resources we could use at our art zone. We were also looking for signs of autumn and if we could spot any every green trees.

We had great fun being creative with the nature resources we had found.

King and Queen πŸ‘‘

This week we had our first virtual assembly and the children got to find out the kings and queens from each of the classes.

This week our king of the castle was Brayden for trying really hard in all our learning zones and challenging himself (achieving).

Our queen of the castle was Layla M for being a super helper and always cleaning the classroom (safe).

Our Winners πŸ†

I would like to say a huge thank you to Β everyone who took part in our pyramid challenge. It was really tricky for the judges to choose!

On Friday we had lots more entries and they were all fantastic⭐️

The judges were blown away by your creativity and really struggled to choose, so much so, they asked our sport coaches to help them!

In third place we had Erin, they really liked her simple design. πŸ†

In second place we had Lowri, they really liked how she had thought of the 3D shape. πŸ†Β πŸ†

In first place we had Mirrin, again they really liked the shape but they were blown away with her creativity! πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Well done everyone – you are all winners to me πŸ†πŸ¦„πŸ’–

Pyramid challenge πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬

I would like to say a huge thank you for all the fabulous pyramids that have been brought in so far. The children have enjoyed chatting about how they made them and they have all had so much fun! 😊 Our pyramids will be judged by Mr Mothersole and Mrs McCleod tomorrow. If you would like to take part remember to bring in your pyramids! πŸ’—βοΈπŸ’—

It is going to be so hard for our judges, they are just fabulous! πŸ¦„πŸ’—

Pyramid Challenge πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬

This term our topic is Egypt. Miss Keegan has set us a special homework challenge to create our very own pyramids. The only rules are to have fun and be creative πŸ’– We can’t wait to see everyone’s efforts!

I will ask for pyramids to be brought into school (if possible) on Friday 16th October.  They can be brought in before then if you finish early. If your pyramid is delicate and will break easily you can take a picture and put on your Class Dojo  so all your friends can still see it 😊

I hope you have lots of fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Last day of P2!

Good morning boys and girls. I can’t believe it is our last day in Primary 2 but at least I get to see all you beautiful faces next year!

I am so proud of you all and I want to say a big thank you to all the parents for engaging in our online learning.

I hope you have a wonderful summer and I look forward to seeing you all again in August!
