Today we have been practising a short conversation carried out in French including a few basic phrases and questions.
As part of our work learning about compass directions, we used some small compasses to identify directions when we were in the playground.
In PE this afternoon, we practised our techniques in trying to “dummy”our opponents. There was some good intercepting as well as beginning to find space and we played some games to practise these skills.
We have been learning about the symbolism associated with an Advent Wreath and today we use different our art and craft skills to make our own Advent Wreaths our of different media.
At the end of the day we went outside for some fun in the snow!

On Monday we were learning about St Andrew and events in his life.
It was a lovely afternoon, so we were able to develop our basketball skills yesterday. We were focusing on four different types of throw: underarm, shoulder, chest and bounce.
In our art lesson, we were looking at the effect of different patterns. We created a landscape using simple lines and created sections in our drawing. Then we chose different colours to create interesting patterns. It takes longer than you think to finish some of the more complicated patterns!
This week we have been practising different strategies to help us add and subtract. We have used empty number lines and today we used a number square.
In Health and Well-being, we were thinking about different scenarios, the choices we might make and the consequences of those choices. Some of our choices were quite enlightening!
Today we have turned our hands to sneaker design in our work on Anti-bullying. We could work as a pair or individually to create an eye- catching sneaker which we will use for our display.
We had some amazing news during Assembly this morning. We have been awarded the Cool Class Cup this week🏆! Well done, everyone. 🌟
As part of Anti-Bullying Week, we have been thinking about ways that we can be united against bullies. We were thinking of ways that we can act to prevent bullying from happening.
