When we register, we have started to think about which mental maths skills and strategies we are using to add numbers together. It is really interesting to hear which ways pupils are applying their skills.

In HWB, Primary 4 were introduced to the idea of what it would be like to suddenly have to leave your home. Some children were aware of current global situations where people have left conflict zones and unsafe areas.  We compared the things you would pack for a beach holiday and those you would pack if you had to leave your home without knowing where you were going and how long for.
