Today we created our Gateways to learning – don’t they look effective? We are settling into our new routines and getting used to our new class bubble.

We have had a lovely day, sharing information about ourselves in our “Owl about me” task. We thought about times when we have used number and maths in our lives and suggestions included: sharing, time, measure, angles and fractions. This afternoon we were thinking about our hopes for this year and are preparing a class tree of aspirations for the wall.

This afternoon the sun came out and we had a fun break playing with  friends in our class.

Welcome back to school and to Primary 4/5.

It was so nice to be back together and though some routines have changed, being together and enjoying our first day has been lovely.

We had a chance to chat together, think of some ideas for our class work and and settle into some new routines. We are going to have a great time and thank you for a lovely first day back! 😁
