Bonjour et salut!
This link takes you straight to someone reading chapters 6 and 7 of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. You can then click on the following chapters so that you can hear and read more of the story.
For your spelling practice, please ask someone to test you on column 2 of your spelling wall.
Literacy – I can identify different types of sentences.
This link is a super visual to help you think about different types of sentences.
Look carefully at the different types of sentences and explain to someone their differences.
2. Make these statements into questions by changing them a little e.g. Jo copies Kim’s work – Does Jo copy Kim’s work?
- Pete’s book is very messy.
- Mrs Saunders shouted at Beth.
- The dragon was long and thin.
- Andrea will finish on time.
- There are no such things as unicorns. (Careful with this one).
Follow the instructions below to complete the sequencing and exclamations practice.
Here is another link to help you learn your times tables. I love the reggae beat music – have fun learning!
Here are some Easter Maths word problems for you to solve. In your jotter write – I can use the correct sum to solve word problems. Write out any working to show how you calculated the answer. I have done the first one for you. Remember to put in any signs e.g. £ or p for money, g for grams etc.
Have fun with this super Easter multiplication game.

Like Sam in the maths problem, if you have any chocolate and suitable cereal at home – cornflakes, krispies, shredded wheat, etc – maybe you could make some Easter nests too!

Hi Sonny, I miss you too! Remember that you can look on the Blogs for the other classes too to see what they’re up to and you can choose other tasks from P5 or P4 if you feel like it. If you have any requests for revision or something that you’re interested in please let me know. I hope that you and all the family have a relaxing and safe Easter Break. Lots of love x
