In our Big Reading lesson we were revising our knowledge of nouns and adjectives. In our Trios we scanned to locate the ingredients used in George’s Marvellous Medicine and then decided which adjective would best describe them.

Today we started to learn about the Jewish celebration of Rosh Hashanah which means “the head of the year”. From Rosh Hashanah until Yom Kippur then days later, Jewish people hope that God will forgive them for their wrong deeds and they try to make things better ready for the sweet year ahead  – this is a reason why apples dipped in honey are eaten.

We used some of the important and symbolic words from Rosh Hashanah to create a word art in ICT. To find the program, look up word art word cloud on your internet browser.
