As we’ve moved into Tier 4, we’re no longer allowed to do our yoga inside. This afternoon, we braved the elements and went outside for PE.

As the forecast is for torrential rain tomorrow, we decided to move our PE lesson this afternoon. Please come to school wearing your school uniform tomorrow not Your PE kit.

This afternoon we were learning about life as a soldier in the trenches during WW1. We also listened to some other children presenting their PowerPoint or poster about WW1 to the class.

This afternoon, as part of our work on Remembrance Day, we painted poppies in the style of Georgia O’Keeffe, the American Artist. We were all really pleased with our painting were coming along.  Tomorrow, we will add the finishing touches to our poppies.

We postponed our PE lesson due to the heavy rain this morning. This afternoon, the sun came out and we had a go at our first Touch Rugby lesson. We all had a great time and a great workout.

This morning we took part in our online assembly. Mr Green reminded us of expected behaviour in the playground and explained about our special Hallowe’en themed day next Friday. As part of our writing, we started our poetry work. We were Identifying types of poetry and some of their features.

It was lovely to see most of P6/7A back at school today. We’ve gone over this week’s homework. Please ensure you complete the homework by next Sunday and don’t forget to upload a photo of your homework. This afternoon we went into the hall for our Yoga. We enjoyed our Cosmic Kids Yoga Session.

This afternoon, as part of our work on Developing the Young Workforce, we were learning about the job of a police officer and the different roles with Police Scotland.  Grant, the Paramedic, also made a little video to reply to the questions we sent him.  As  you  can see from some of the photos, we gave this Developing the Young Workforce Week 10/10 .

This afternoon we were learning about the Ambulance Service.  We looked at when to call 999 for an ambulance and when to look for help at the GP, Pharmacy or Walk in Clinic instead.  Next, we will research different careers within the Ambulance Service.
