This morning in literacy we were all working very hard. Β The red group read another chapter then completed a reading comprehension about their text. Β The blue group were using their notes from yesterday to write a summary of a chapter. Β The green group read the next chapter, completed a cloze procedure then put in speech marks and punctuation to sentences from their text.

The children thought it was hard but great fun writing their very first thrillers. Β They are looking forward to writing another thriller next week.
This morning we completed a reading comprehension on the Human Ear. Β We were encouraged to skim and scan the passage and diagram quickly to get the Β main ideas then we read the text again more slowly.
This afternoon we labelled a diagram of the ear. Β We had to label our diagram to explain the different parts of our ear.
