Each child has copied their spelling words into their homework jotter or on a piece of paper if they didnβt bring their jotters to school.Β Pick at least 6 words from their list and put the word into an interesting sentence, underlining with a ruler the spelling word.Β Everyone should have at least 6 sentences.
In Literacy this week, we are revising how to punctuate direct speech.Β Copy these sentences neatly into your jotter, remember put in β around the first word spoken and β around the last word spoken.Β If you need to, highlight the words spoken first.
