Parts of speech
You have been learning about different parts of speech over the last few weeks, so here is an opportunity to revise them! You have a selection of words which you are going to put under the correct heading in a table in your jotter. The headings are: noun, adjective, verb, adverb and pronoun. After you have completed the table, please write 5 sentences using a word from each column.
Reading – ongoing
Reading is not just an activity completed in school, it is ongoing and there are lots of opportunities for reading outside school. Find an interesting sentence or short paragraph from a piece of environmental text – reading book, poster, flier, newspaper report, recipe etc. Copy it into your jotter and explain why you think it is interesting.
Number
You have been learning different strategies to help you add numbers accurately.
Complete the addition sums neatly in your jotter.
