This morning we were revising rounding to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 100,000 and million.  We took our learning outside and enjoyed the sunshine as we were playing a rounding game.

Today we wrote to President Biden inviting him to our school when he comes to Glasgow for the COP26 in November. Don’t forget we’ve got our Cool Class Cup prize on Monday- Nerf Wars.

This afternoon we had a few more getting to know you activities and we also revised the Rights of the Child. Next we will start to think about building our Class Charter.

It was lovely to meet everyone this morning.  All the boys and girls looked so smart in their school uniforms.  We spent the day getting to know everyone.  I think we are going to have a great year together.

Every Tuesday, Mrs Maher will be taking P6/7 for PE outside.  Tomorrow children  can come in their full school uniform or just their uniform on the top and jogging bottoms on their lower half.

Today P6/7a took part in the Big Clean. Our classroom is sparkling and the outside of the school has been tidied too. I can only imagine how neat, clean and tidy your bedrooms are! Well done, P6/7A! 🧽🧹🧼

This morning we had PE outside then we thoroughly enjoyed our Burst into Summer Treat- Soak the Teacher 🧽🧽🧽🧽

Remember on Monday the school is having its Big Clean and you don’t need to wear your uniform all next week!

Yesterday, P7 had a very successful visit to Greenfaulds High.  The Head of First Year, commented on the children’s excellent behaviour, conduct and their well thought out questions. Meanwhile, P6 were working hard with Mr Green on their Stop Motion Videos (see yesterday’s blog).

Primary 6 were stuck with Mr Green this morning while Primary 7 enjoyed their trip to high school. They worked on their maths skills and then created Stop Motion Movies using the PowerPoint Programme.

Wow! We all had a great time at the park this afternoon. The sun came out and we enjoyed our snacks.

Just before the showers this afternoon, we managed to have a go at the Trim Trail Challenges!
