BOOK FAIR

We hope the children who have had the chance to view the Book Fair have enjoyed their experience.  If your child wishes to purchase any books please make payment online and return the wish list to school by Monday 3rd March to ensure we can place the orders before the Book Fair is uplifted.

SCHOOL LUNCHES

Due to some kitchen maintenance issues we will only be able to provide soup and sandwiches for school lunches tomorrow (Thursday 27th February).

PARENT’S NIGHT

               PARENTS EVENING – THURSDAY 6TH MARCH 2025

Parents Evening will take place on Thursday 6th March 2025 from 3.30pm – 5.30pm and 6.30pm – 8.30pm.  As before, appointments can be made online only and available slots will be visible when you log in.  Log onto http://www.parents-booking.co.uk/whiteleesprimary.  Please note you need to type this address into your website browser’s ‘address bar’. Do not try to ‘Google’ this website address or use a search engine as that will not work. This is a common mistake on phones and tablets especially.  Login to see which appointments are available and select one that is convenient for you.

You will need:

  • Your title and surname (these must match those we have on record for you).
  • Your child’s first name, surname and date of birth.

The system will be live from 7th February at 8.00pm and will be open to take your bookings until 28th February at 8.00pm.  Appointment times will be available when you log on.

Troubleshooting Tips – please read before booking

  • To login you need to enter the details we have on record for you and your child.  If you have recently changed your title or surname, for example, and not informed us, we will be expecting you to login with the details we have on record.
  • The email address you enter is only used to receive a confirmation of your appointment.  If the system gives you an error when you login, it will not be the email address that is the problem.
  • If you have several children to make bookings for, and decide not to use the Booking Wizard, but instead make appointments individually, use the ‘Change Child’ button on the blue bar (above the school’s name) in the very top left corner of the Parent’s Booking Page to swap between your children.

INVITATION

After lots of fundraising by our Parent Council, you may have noticed that our new play area is finally underway! The children are excited to see the development of the area and are enjoying watching it all coming together. This week, and possibly into the beginning of next week, all parts of the play area will be constructed. Following on from this, members of our Parent Forum will then begin the tough job of laying the rubber chippings around the full area. 

All going well, and weather permitting, we aim to have our Grand Opening of the play area on Monday 10th February 2025. Parents will be invited to join us for an open afternoon on Monday 10th February from 1:45pm onwards, please save the date and join us if you can. More information on timings to follow.

We will also arrange a Friday date to invite our former pupils back to see the new play area and have a chance to use the new equipment. 

Alternative arrangements will be made for our nursery children.
