PE – Scottish Dancing:  This week we have been finishing off our lessons on Scottish dancing. We have been learning three dances; The Gay Gordons, The Dashing White Sergeant and Strip the Willow.  The favourite dances were Dashing White Sergeant and Strip the Willow. We enjoyed dancing with our friends.

Numeracy and Maths: We have been learning to multiply decimals using the grid method and partitioning method. This was reasonably simple as we have carried out similar calculations but without the decimal point.

Finding the area of rectangular shapes and triangles was a different story! Phew!!!! It was challenging!!!! We need to work on this a bit more next week but we are getting there.

LiteracyWell done to our Star Writers this week who wrote excellent instructions on ‘How to Make a Gas Mask’.

Scottish Poem: ‘The Blue Doo’. We are all amazing at reciting our poem and are looking forward to performing it on Tuesday.

Our star pupil this week was Abi.  Well done Abi!

Confirmation: We are working through our lessons and will be starting Week 2 lessons on Monday.
