Have you seen any Twa-Leggit Mice?

Hello and welcome to this week’s blog. We have been busy learning our Scottish poem. It’s called ‘Twa-Leggit Mice’. It is about a mither who thinks she has mice in her house who can open ‘air-ticht tins’ and eat her chocolate biscuits. What she doesn’t know is that it’s actually her children who get ‘fair hungert’ and eat her biscuits when ‘hame alane’. We are getting really good at reciting our poem and look forward to performing it at assembly on Burns Day.

This week we also began our first lesson helping us prepare for the sacrament of Reconciliation. We know that this sacrament is all about telling Jesus that we are sorry for the times we didn’t show love. We have started to learn our Act of Sorrow prayer too.

On Thursday we used our cooking skills to make pizza wraps. They tasted delicious and we know that before preparing food we must wash our hands with warm soapy water.

Tune in next week to find out more about life in our busy P3 class.
