Literacy: We watched the tv advert ‘The Man on the Moon’ and write our own imaginative story using this as a theme. Mrs Doogan was amazed at how good the stories were. Now we need to start adding more imagery into our writing.  In Spelling we learned how to use an apostrophe correctly.

Numeracy and Maths:  We are progressing through our maths really quickly and ISM and Thanos are now on subtracting numbers with two decimal places.

Black Panther are working hard at multiplying using partitioning.

On Thursday we had our Christmas lunch with the options of Turkey, Steak Pie and the vegetarian option of Vegetable Pasta. We had chocolate and vanilla cake and chocolate or vanilla ice cream.

 

The House Captains helped Mrs Shaw set up the lunch hall with Christmas napkins and cracker and Christmas cloths for the tables.
