In maths the children have been learning that, when adding several numbers together, they can change the order of the numbers in the calculation to help them solve it.  In ‘Pattern’ the children have been describing whether the pattern goes up or down in equal or unequal steps, using whole numbers and fractions.

The children used their own knowledge and a variety of class resources to write beautiful recounts of  the story of  The Nativity, focusing on retelling the events clearly and in order.

In reading the children are continuing to focus on reading clearly and with expression. They have been also been improving their dictionary skills through metalinguistic tasks.
