This week we wrote about a football fiasco and we’re not talking about Scotland’s defeat on Thursday against Israel! 🙈 We learned what ‘fiasco’ meant and we also talked about alliteration.

In Maths we continued working on ordering 2 and 3 digit numbers and we also revised the concept of counting on. Stella told us that when you count on, the value of your starting number gets higher. After the holiday we are moving on to learning the signs representing greater than and less than.

On Friday afternoon we had FAB and going by the smiles afterwards, everyone had a great time. Mrs Murphy then took those of us who wanted to play chess to the school chess club. Nieve came back saying she got a checkmate! 😀

Finally, it was lovely to meet our P3 parents on Thursday night and we hope you enjoyed looking through all the hard work your child has produced so far this term. Now it’s time for everyone to enjoy well earned holiday. Have fun and stay safe!
