Here’s a moving game to play to play with a little help from a member of your family. Find a space and listen to what is being called out.
Here are your instructions:
Gingerbread man: You run as fast as you can like the gingerbread man.
Old Woman/Mixing: You mix up the gingerbread dough with big stirring motions.
Oven: You jump up. We do two feet jumps and leaps for this sometimes.
Old Man: You run like an old man. You can do slow running movements. Or even pretend running with a walking stick.
Cow: You run while crawling and moo like a cow.
Fox: You swim like a fox (lie on the floor and pretended to doggy paddle. You can even pretend to gobble the gingerbread man).
