Good morning everyone how was your Christmas holiday? I hope you had lots of fun with your family and you are all keeping well.
Let’s get started with our home learning, we’ll begin today with a story called Harry and the Snow King.
As we don’t have any snow today let’s make some play dough and we can use it to make our very own snow king
You will need
2 cups of flour
1 cup of salt
1 cup of water
colour or glitter if you choose
A little drop of cooking oil
Mix all the ingredients together to make the dough
Keep in the fridge when you’re not using it.
Playdough is an excellent way for us to strengthen the muscles in our fingers and hands, its great fun and there is no end of opportunities for what we can make with it.
Here’s a great idea for getting our counting skills in action again-
Ask mum or dad if you can borrow either a muffin tin like the one in the picture or some small tubs.
Ask them to draw some numbers onto paper and put them into the tins, try and match the correct number of pompoms or beads or buttons to the number in the tin.
Our rhyme for today is A Jolly Snowman
