Good morning, how are you all today? We hope you are feeling well. I wonder what’s happening with the caterpillars today; let’s have a peek
Today Mrs Carson will read us ‘The crunching, munching caterpillar’
Caterpillar rhyme
Fuzzy caterpillar
In your warm cocoon
The long weeks are over and you’ll be hatching soon.
Then you’ll spread your wings
On a warm and pretty day
And wave us all goodbye
As you fly away!
Who’s in the mood for some baking fun?
Marshmallow Caterpillars
You will need Red liquorice shoe laces; small/large marshmallows (Depending on the size of caterpillar you want); icing pens; a metal or wooden skewer.
What you do: Make a hole in the centre of the marshmallows. Thread the liquorice lace through each marshmallow until you have the required amount. Decorate the 1st one using 2 small pieces of liquorice for the antennae and make 2 eyes using the icing pen.
How did you get on yesterday with your symmetrical picture?
