Percentages, Kings and Our Lady

In Literacy we learned how to do medieval writing and it was exciting to see how people used to write back in Scotland’s history.  We pledged our allegiance to Edward I of England in our Ragman’s Roll.

In Maths we learned about percentages of an amount and here’s an example 10% of £50 = £5

In topic we have been learning about King Edward the I of England and John Balliol.  He had a claim to the Scottish throne and he did become King of Scotland for a short time.

In R.E.we have been learning about Saint Bernadette and how our lady of Lourdes appeared to her 18 times before Saint Bernadette died.

The star pupil this week was Ava Marie.  Well done Ava!
