Despite it only being a 4 day week the children have settled in well and had a really busy week.  We have welcomed Miss McColl to our class who is very impressed with our learning.

In Maths P2s have been revising addition and subtraction and looking at the link between addition and subtraction.  Primary 3s have been revising the 2, 4 and 8 times tables.  Looking at multiplication and division facts.  In beyond number Miss McColl has been teaching us lines of symmetry in shapes and pictures.  We showed off our knowledge in this are to a Tutor from Glasgow University and another 3 teachers, who were all really impressed.

We have started our new topic and looking at Castles.  We have been learning different parts of castles.
