April in Primary 5

It’s hard to believe we’re already at the end of April. We’ve had a busy few weeks with the Easter holidays in between.

In Language we have started some new novels, some of us will be reading ‘The Demon Headmaster’ and some of us will be reading ‘Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter’. We wrote some discursive pieces this week, we are learning how to balance our arguments.

In Maths we have been learning about time. We have been writing am and pm times as 24 hour times and learning to tell the time on 12 hour clocks.

We created a ‘Role on the Wall’ considering the feelings of Mary, Queen of Scots when she spent time living in France.

Before the Easter holidays we went to Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh, we had a great time. Have a look at some of the photos below.

Next Friday we have first Friday Mass for May, hope to see some of you there.
