Primary 4/3 have come back from Easter break full of the joys of spring! We are well rested and looking forward to our last term.
Primary 4 have been using table facts and a variety of mental methods to work out multiplication calculations particularly focusing on multiples of 10 and 100 e.g. 3×4=12 so 30×40=120 so 30×40=1200. We feel confident using this and we enjoy working out tricky sums!
Primary 3 can explain the connection between multiplication and division in a variety of ways. We know which time-table fact to use when solving a division problem. We can confidently draw arrays to explain our workings.
We have been working together as a class to make posters filled with interesting facts and information about the different class of passenger and cabins etc for the Titanic. We found information in books and used a search engine on the computer to help us. We also shared facts that we have learned at home and tried to compliment these with detailed line drawings. In groups we presented this information to the rest of the class.
Primary 4 have started Holy Communion practise in the church. We ask you to keep them all in your prayers as they prepare for this very special sacrament.
Pictures of our Easter fun have been included in this blog.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Primary 4/3 and Miss McDonald
