Holy Cross Primary

End of Week 2

Friday again … the children have been really settled this week and working hard in all their curricular areas.  Our Star Pupil this week was Eva – who has worked well in all her work, in particular in her Maths.  Primary 2 children have been introduced to grouping, in Maths, which will then give them an introduction into multiplication.

Primary 3 children have began their journey of preparation towards their Sacrament of Reconciliation.  They have been issued with their Sacramental workbook and have completed Home Session 1.  We will continue to work on this to help them prepare for their Sacrament on 7 March.

Children have been practising their Scottish poem – A Dug, A Dug, by Bill Keys; and also learning the song A Murder in the Chip Shop.  We will continue to work on this.

Thank you

Mrs Lewis & Primary 3/2
