Maths: This week in maths and numeracy we have continued Area and we found out how to the find the area of a rectangular shape. The other group learned about the properties of 3D shapes and nets.

Literacy: This week in literacy we did a writers craft activity with Mrs Thomson from St Maurice’s high school. We learned the skill to complete a cliff-hanger story. We also wrote recounts about our Christmas holidays. We have all got a copy of our Scottish poem ‘The Blue Doo’ which we should learn for the special assembly.

Topic: This week in topic we learned about The Blitz in London and Clydebank and how it killed thousands of people. We created our own Blitz artwork using lots of skills e.g. blending, creating silhouettes from paper or painting. We use lots of different materials in our work.
