Our week got off to a great start with our Christmas show performance of ‘Little Angel Gets her Wings’. We were all amazing and had great fun performing. We hope the audience all enjoyed it too.

MATHS
This week in Maths we have been learning how to add several numbers together using mental strategies so that we can get quicker at finding totals. We know that it is easier to find numbers that can make a multiple of 10.
LANGUAGE
We have continued with our persuasive genre of writing and we wrote some really wonderful letters to Santa at the North Pole to try and convince him to bring us some lovely gifts this Christmas and to remind him we are all on the NICE list this Christmas.
HEALTH & WELL BEING
We have carried out an experiment all about how germs spread. We used bread to do this. The first slice was controlled which meant that gloves were used to touch this slice. The second slice hands were washed and then it was touched. However the third slice after lunch one day we all had a turn of touching the bread slice and you can see for yourself the results. We will be continuing to learn more about different types of germs and viruses, their symptoms and more important how to prevent these from spreading.
