This week we continued to focus on our persuasive writing. We made a poster to persuade everyone to come along to our Christmas Fayre tomorrow. We used persuasive language and made our posters bright and eye catching to convince people to come along. P4 started a new book for novel study called ‘Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter’. P3 will be using a variety of books for their literacy activities. We have been finding out information about a famous author Michael Morpurgo. Ask us and we will tell you all about him!

P4 have been investigating hundredths. We know how show this as a fraction and can identify hundredths of a shape. P3 have been focusing on using number squares and finding out tricks to use to help work out sums super fast! We have all been looking at symmetry and what makes an object symmetrical.

For science we have been looking at germs and diseases. We have been learning how to keep healthy during the winter time and how we can help prevent spreading or catching germs. We used glitter and glue to show how germs are easily spread.
