Marvellous Memories

In Literacy, the children talked about some of their favourite personal memories. They then wrote a recount of their own special memory, focusing on telling the events in chronological order.

We have been looking at the work of the artist Henri Rousseau, in particular his painting of the Lion in the Jungle. The children have used this to inspire their own paintings.

In Maths we have been continuing our work on number patterns and sequences. We are also focusing on addition and subtraction.

The children have worked extremely hard to make beautiful Elf Doors and Elf  Treats for our Christmas Fayre. Hope you can manage to pop along tomorrow!
