We are so sad that our topic Harry Potter has come to an end.  We have loved doing all the activities from making wands to carrying out potion experiments. We are desperate to read the next Harry Potter book so we will be reading this as a class novel.

 

Maths

In maths this week we have been doing Date Handling.  We have learned about databases, frequency tables, bar graphs and Venn diagrams.

 

Literacy

In storywriting we have moved onto Explanations.  This week we learned about the life cycle of a frog.  We know that there are 4 stages of metamorphosis; egg, tadpole, froglet and adult frog.

 

Kilbowie

Our Primary 7 children will be going to Kilbowie next week.  We hope they will have a great time.

 

Museum on the Mound

The Primary 6 children will be going to Museum on the mound in Edinburgh on Thursday.  Please remember to bring in permission slips and £6 to pay for the trip.
