It’s hard to believe we’re already at the end of Term 1 in Primary 5. We wrote instructions to make salt dough this week, we are adding more detail to each step and remembering to include a variety of adverbs and adjectives.
In Maths we have been comparing and ordering fractions.
As part of our topic we learned about whales this week, we know there are many different species and that they are mammals therefore they can’t breathe underwater. We also acted out our favourite films related to the ocean for drama, these were very cleverly done and entertaining to watch.
We were learning about some of the different places people visit to honour Our Lady. We then made our own grottos like the one for Our Lady in Lourdes.
We really enjoy circle time as a class, using our talking and listening skills when sharing with our classmates.
We hope everybody has a lovely October week and a well earned rest after a busy first term.
