P4 have been busy bee’s this week learning! In R.E we have been learning all about Our Lady of Fatima and the story of how she appeared to three Shepard children. We also learned about the work of Missio Scotland and the mission Rosary. We looked at the coloured beads and found out that they stand for each of the five continents:
Green – Africa
Asia – Yellow
Europe – White
Americas – Red
Oceania – Blue
In maths and numeracy we have been revising the 3 times table and looked at the the link between the 3 times table and the 6. We have also looked at 3D shape this week and identified how many faces a shape has. With Mr McKenna we looked at pictograms again and can answer questions about them and create our own.
In writing we have been writing instructions and made a set of instructions to go with the rain gauges we made for our topic work. We have been measuring the daily rain fall.
