Officially October

This week we have continued out reading strategies of our books; The Invisible Dog and The Butterfly Lion. We wrote a set of instructions to help someone make a key ring using shrink paper. We created these with our own designs on Monday and then they were put in the oven, when they came out they were hard and plastic. We added a key ring and were delighted with the results. Have a look.

In Maths we began looking at Fractions, we know that fractions are equal parts, the top number in a fraction is known the the numerator and the bottom number is the denominator. The bottom number is the number we divide by.

This week we also painted our salt dough sea creatures, we were happy with how bright and colourful they became.

We enjoyed music this week, learning different techniques to help us sing tricky songs.

Have a look at how creative we have been during our Outdoor PE session.

We have been saying a decade of the Rosary as we know that October is the month dedicated to Our Lady and the Holy Rosary.
