Maths: This week in maths our primary sevens have been learning how to round and estimate to the nearest 10, 100, 1000. Our other fabulous sevens have been learning how to work with negative numbers.
Literacy: This week in literacy our I.S.M group read chapters 4-6 in their book ‘The Dark Isle’ and also wrote a Metalinguistic activity to work out difficult words. Our other group Thanos read chapters 10-13 of their novel ‘Jammy Dodgers on the Run‘ and they also designed a Visualiser about the streets of London in Victorian times. We also wrote very detailed reports on the oceans. Mrs Doogan was very impressed with all our research and facts.
Triumph of the Cross: It was our Feast Day mass today and we were responsible for conducting the mass. We have been practicing all week. We had a lovely time at mass and we hope you enjoyed it as it was the 60th celebration of the day the church was built.
Our P.E. days will be a Tuesday (indoor) and a Thursday (outdoor). Please make sure you have a warm clothes and a waterproof jacket on a Thursday!
Thank you for reading our blog!
