Homework is provided online through the class Team.

Teachers upload a fortnightly homework grid of suggested activities. The grid will contain the spelling words and phonemes being taught in those weeks as well as maths activities linked to the learning taking place in class. There is no expectation to return these tasks to school as these are consolidation activities allowing you as parents a greater insight into what your child is learning. New learning, development of that learning and then assessment for next steps is done during class time.

Reading homework will be issued every week and we ask and expect that books are read every night in P1-3 and the appropriate chapters read within the week for P4-7. It is important that the books are in bags every day as the children use these as part of their daily writing tasks.
