Our Pupil Council organised a Talent Show on Friday afternoon. The children had paid £1 to dress down and this was used to buy prizes for our participants. We had gymnasts, singers, dancers and magicians.
Monday 25th – open afternoon in Room 1. Wednesday 27th – Basketball Festival – Tri Golf afterschool club Friday 29th – Dress Down and pay £1 to the Pupil Council. A Talent Show run by the Pupil Council will be held in the afternoon. Prizes will be given out – bought by dress down money. REMINDER: Next Monday 2nd May is a holiday, and on Thursday 5th we are closed
Our football team took part in an interschools football tournament at Toryglen football facility to promote the upcoming Glasgow Cup Final between Rangers and Celtic, taking place at Ibrox next Saturday. Our children had a great day winning every game they played.
A big thank you to all that supported our recent daffodil tea. We raised £214.68 for CLIC Sargent. We did this by selling tickets & daffodils. We ran a homebaking stall, sold raffle tickets and had 2 games of standup bingo. We had a parade of all the Spring Bonnets made at home in the holidays. It was a very difficult job to pick a winners from each stage but
One of our parent’s – Mr Colin Craig will be taking part in a Zip Slide across the Clyde in May to raise money for CLIC Sargent. The price of a school lunch has increased by 10p to £1.90. This information was on the meal planner sent out before easter with effect from today. Wednesday 20th April. We all helped raise £192.70 for Sports Relief. Different sporting activites were set up around the school. We moved from room to room every 15 minutes. In the hall we had to negotiate a course with one of the sports balls balanced on a spoon. In room 4 we tried to do a standing jump. In room 3 we threw bean bags to try to get as close to the main
We will be taking part in Sports Relief again this year. The pupil Council have helped organise an afternoon of fun sporting activities. Sports mini balls will be on sale at lunch times from Monday 14th March onwards. Cost £1.00. On Friday 18th March we would like all the children to bring their P.E. kit to change into at lunch time.
