Room 3 have been learning about fish. They have been looking after them and the day has come to release them into the Gadloch.
Some of our P5 to P7 children took part in the cross country quarter finals at Ravenswood on Friday.
Room 3 are raising funds for their classroom project “Clyde in the Classroom”. They will be selling a cup of fruit punch for 50p in room 3 at playtime on a Friday. They will be making a different flavour every week until they meet their target of £100. If you would like your child to take part please send them with a 50p coin on a Friday – starting on
P4 – 7 taster session of Boxercise. Boxercise is a branded, non-contact, safe, effective and fun activity, using straight-forward boxing-based techniques, and is predominantly a partner exercise, using gloves and pads (all supplied). This was be provided by an insured and registered instructor qualified in Boxercise and Kids Boxercise with full PVG Disclosure Scotland accreditation.
Well done to the NLC Active Schools Team for a fantastic morning of active sports taster sessions. The girls had a great time. Auchinloch girls took part in the following activities.

The girls had a great time at The Tryst in Cumbernauld this morning. They tried the following sports: Judo, Gymnastics, Tai Kwon Do, Baton Twirling, Basketball and Rugby.
Today Miss Flint put down her whiteboard pens and laptop, leaving P4/5 to teach the class. Today’s lessons included Tae Kwon do Salmon of Knowledge Wolves – we learned how to draw a wolf Colour Mixing Rocks and Minerals Football – dribbling and taking penalties Drama It was really interesting hearing about lots of different topics and taking part in different activities. A big well done to our 2 Primary 5 girls who represented our cluster of schools. They came first and I think you will agree the smiles on their faces say how delighted they are. Mr & Mrs McDove’s encouragement paid off.
