Just before we finished up for the summer holidays the children and the staff all voted for our new School Captain, Vice Captains and House Captains. As with previous years, all candidates had to prepare a talk about themselves and their vision for each of the roles. The standard was very high and the children delivered their speeches with confidence. Below you can see all of the successful candidates.

Wednesday 28th August
Meet the Teacher night 4.00 – 6.00pm
There will be two separate sessions, 4.00pm – 5.00pm and 5.00pm – 6.00pm. Following on from your feedback last year, this event will be held in your child’s classroom.
Unlike our Parents Information Evening (Parents’ Night) on the 12th and 13th of November 2019, this forthcoming ‘Meet the Teacher’ has a more informal approach. Our teaching staff will be in their own classroom with a variety of resources. This is an opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, should you wish. Please feel free to look at the resources used by your child, ask any questions you may have or simply just come in to say hello. You are all more than welcome. There will be no allocated individual time slots, however, anyone wishing to attend we ask that you come at the start time of either session 1 (4.00pm) or session 2 (5.00pm). Having paid to hire the school after the working day, all visitors must vacate by 6.00pm, so please give yourself enough time to come in and look around.

Thursday 29th & Friday 30th August. We do not know the order the photographer will choose to take the photos so could we ask the children to wear shirt and tie on these 2 days. There will be no PE as the hall is being used for the photographs.
