Visit from Mr Gary Mclean
Today in nursery we had a special visitor Mr Gary Maclean, Finlay and Harris’s dad and Masterchefs the Professionals 2016 Winner.
Gary spoke to the children about what foods are healthy and allowed the children to taste a variety of fruits. He then prepared a frozen strawberry yoghurt as well as a strawberry and mango one which the children loved.
Gary then spoke about Burns day and that we eat the special Scottish sausage (Haggis) on Burns day. Gary prepared Turnip boats filled with creamy mashed potatoes and Haggis for the children to try, most children tried this some even asked for more.
