Mrs Bowden and Mrs Scallan’s classes had an exciting delivery yesterday! The brown box contained everything they would need to nurture their own caterpillars until they become butterflies. Watch this space for updates!

The pupils of Primary 4/5 have added foliage and fruit to their butterfly pavillions, just in case the butterflies decide to emerge over the holiday weekend. We will all be looking forward to checking for any butterflies on Tuesday morning.

We have now carefully transferred all of our chrysalides into the two butterfly pavillions. All that remains for us to do is to be patient and await their transformation into beautiful butterflies. We shall keep you posted!

We are amazed by the size of our caterpillars this morning! They have obviously been tucking into their food and enjoying their new home in the P4/5 classroom in Castlehill.
