Yesterday, pupils in Primary 1/2/3 went on a walk to see what mini beasts they could find in and around the school grounds.
They searched in grassy areas and under rocks and managed to find worms, a caterpillar, a spider and bumble bees.

We we were very excited about our cooking today when Mrs Black showed us the ingredients for our dish! We began by chopping the Oreos in the food processor to make a biscuit crumb. We then melted marshmallows and butter in the microwave and then mixed the biscuit crumbs through the melted marshmallows. When all the Oreos were coated with the mixture, we spooned it into a tray and flattened it out. We then put it in the fridge to set.
It was delicious!

Yesterday, we took our maths outdoors. We went for a walk around our local area in the sunshine, looking for 3D shapes in our community. Some shapes were easier to find then others! We found cuboids, cylinders, a triangular prism and a pentagonal prism.

Some of our Primary 7 pupils have been running a lunchtime club for Primary 1/2/3 pupils.
Today, they enjoyed games with the parachute where they had to keep the ball bouncing on the parachute and not let it fall through the hole in the centre.
They also enjoyed a quick game of Dodgeball, a Castlehill favourite!

We have had a very busy week!
We have been practising lots for our school show. Here we are in our lovely costumes.
Then today we went out to see the electricity sub-station as part of our electricity topic.
