Easter crafts

Pupils in P1/2/3 had a lovely time in the playroom, making some Easter  and Spring themed crafts. They made Easter baskets with patterned eggs, decorated birds with colourful feathers and folded lovely tulip fans.

P.2/3a @ The Science Centre

Last Wednesday we visited Glasgow Science Centre as part of our Science.  We have been learning about the moon within our IDL topic of The Sixties.

We had an excellent day exploring the Science Mall, then learning about the moon, stars and planets in the Planetarium.

Nursery visit to Clyde Valley High

We went for a walk to visit the new Clyde Valley High School building last week. We also got the chance to have a look from the outside at the new Nursery Class.  It looks fantastic!  We were taken around the High School by some senior pupils who very kindly gave the children biscuits and juice before we left.  Staff, Parents and Pupils were really impressed with the building.  Now the children have had the chance to visit the new build, it will make the transition much easier and we are all very excited!
