Primary 1/2/3 have been making lovely collage butterflies, using several different art techniques.
They created a background by making wave patterns using chalks. Then they created line drawing flowers to add dimension to the backgound. To make their 3D butterflies, they started by painting kitchen roll tubes to be the bodies. The wings were painted in tones of one colour and then added to the bodies with some googly eyes.
The finished colllages are wonderful!
