Today the children in P1/2/3 were very busy completing lots of fun Active Maths tasks.
We played Time Bingo, with the children identifying O’clock and half past times.
The girls from the Squares maths group were making the 2 times table using Numicon. Don’t they look proud of their efforts?
Finally, we were finding out how long a minute really is! It seemed a very long time when the children had to count how many times they could jump in a minute. They also had to count how many spins and star jumps they could do. Who knew Active Maths could be that ACTIVE?
