It was lovely to have pupils in P4-7 from Overtown Primary join us for lunch and a celebration of Robert Burns and his poetry.
After a delicious lunch of haggis, neeps and tatties or fish and chips, the gathering was entertained with some highland dancing by Miss Ayleigh Jeffrey and some of her dance school pupils (who are also Overtown Primary pupils). Singing and poetry renditions followed and the event was rounded off with some shortbread and Irn Bru.
