Assembly on Thursday was led by Mrs Black and Mrs Bowden our Acting Principal Teachers, and the aim was to encourage us all to be “superheroes” and help those seeking a better life, away from the conflict in Syria.  Pupils were set a task to consider what items they might take in a backpack, if they had to leave home and country in a rush.  The exercise was thought-provoking and made everyone consider which things were luxury items and which were of real importance to us.
