Assembly was led by Mrs Milligan, who explained more about Getting It Right For Every Child or GIRFEC, as it is more commonly known. This is a Scottish Government policy and you can find out more about it here.

Each child received a small leaflet to take home, which included information on the Named Person. Mrs Milligan is the Named Person for all of the children in our school and you can read more about her role here.  The leaflet also explained the 8 Wellbeing Outcomes used in GIRFEC.  Mrs Milligan discussed one outcome in particular, following which, pupils offered suggestions as to how they could become more Active in their day to day lives to help improve their own wellbeing.
